Your Love

Just...shutup.

Your Love

They said,
Things get better in time.
They said,
Everything will be alright.
You said,
Despite the things that tore us apart,
Whatever's true is in my heart.
And I'm so tired of wishing away,
Feelings that were there the other day,
And I can never make you feel,
Like you did.
Like I do.
Like I always will.

Your love was my purpose,
Purpose to take breath.
When it went it left pain,
And my path clear to death.

I made my mistakes,
That are too large to ignore.
They say life moves on,
But I'm sure there's no more.
I already had life,
But I blew it away,
Now there's no point in living today.
And I can never make you feel,
Like you did.
Like I do.
Like I always will.

Your love was my purpose,
Purpose to take breath.
When it went it left pain,
And my path clear to death.

And I can never make you feel,
Like you did.
Like I do.
Like I always will.

We Are Dead

Say Anything-inspired. Not much to say, it all fit together nicely.

We Are Dead

With a vast amount of human understanding,
Beliefs in science and religion do not divide,
Instead they leak and suffer and bleed...
But we are dead,
To the world that left us dying.
We are slaves,
To a man with no understanding.
We can flee,
But then he'd know that we're running.
And he'd creep,
Across every known desert,
Until the man that's sat above,
Feigns blindness and leaves us standing.

Then they'll follow us back home,
They'll knock on our front doors.
They'll paint us red,
Knock off our heads,
And quietly leave us dying.
And if we tied them to their throne,
They'll make us mop their floors.
We'd paint through led,
Get high instead,
And leave his majesty sighing.

We are dead,
To the world that left us dying.
We are slaves,
To a man with no understanding.
We can flee,
But then he'd know that we're running.
And then that man that's sat above,
Feigns blindness and leaves us standing.

Then I'll take a stranger's hand,
We'll shoot the snipers down.
Take the ammo,
Kiss while we go,
And we'll proudly leave them dying.
And if all goes as we planned,
The war won't make us frown.
It goes to show,
War is our foe,
Unless everyone is lying.

We are dead,
To the world that left us dying.
We are slaves,
To a man with no understanding.
We can flee,
But then he'd know that we're running.
And then that man that's sat above,
Feigns blindness and leaves us standing.

Changing (The Stairs Song)

UUURGH. I'm just trying to make a point. THINGS CHANGE. Things happen and people change. And it sucks like hell but it happens...you just have to move on and hope that somewhere ahead things change for the better. At times you might feel trapped and unable to move on but things change. They do. Be careful.
Mix of pop-rock and hard-rock. Like mixing Paramore ('All I Wanted') and Fightstar ('We Apologize for Nothing').

Changing (The Stairs Song)

There at the edge of the room,
I see your face, crying over me.
But here where I'm standing now,
Not in one place, you're confused like me.
I can't reset the things we said,
I can't perform repairs.
I know you're waiting up ahead,
But I can't find the stairs.

This house keeps changing,
Parts arranging,
Forcing us apart.
I've paid the prices,
Restored from crisis,
Changing through my heart.

Somewhere there is a cupboard,
Where we've pushed things, hidden them from sight.
But where we couldn't find the space,
They're everywhere, causing us to fight.
I can't reset the things I said,
I can't perform repairs.
I know you're waiting up ahead,
But I can't find the stairs.

This house keeps changing,
Parts arranging,
Forcing us apart.
I've paid the prices,
Restored from crisis,
Changing through my heart.

Change to pass the time,
But it still crawls past.
I guess change is not a crime,
But a murder's been forecast.

And I can't change the things we said,
I can't perform repairs.
I hear you waiting up ahead,
But there aren't any stairs.

Your heart keeps changing,
Parts arranging,
Forcing us apart.
I've paid your prices,
Lived through the crisis,
Changing through my heart.
I've paid the prices,
Restored from crisis,
Changing through my heart.

Believe In You

Non-conformist punk-pop-rock. Inspirations include 'Admit It!!!', 'Signal the Rifleman' and 'Woe' by Say Anything. Enjoy.

Believe In You

You speak clearly of me,
And all that you want,
You pay pity to me,
'Cause that's all you've got.
And I won't sit down to take this standing up,
So you should know,
I'm not here to give it up, so

You take them all away,
To redefine them,
You lured freedom away,
'Cause you're pissed again.
And I won't sit down to take this standing up,
So you should know,
I'm not here to give it up, so

We won't believe in you,
We won't believe in you.
We won't believe in self-destruction and,
Keeping a lock on life's front door and,
We won't take this standing up and,
We won't believe in you.

So you're loveless again,
Not so subtly,
And you're lonely again,
'Cause you're so lovely.
And I won't sit down to take this standing up,
You should know,
I'm not here to give it up, whoa

We won't believe in you,
We won't believe in you.
We won't believe in self-destruction and,
Keeping a lock on life's front door and,
We won't take this standing up and,
We won't believe in you.

We won't believe in you.
(We won't believe)
So take down your cameras
(We won't believe)
Take down your thousands of mirrors
(And we won't believe)
And we won't believe what you've done,
But don't leave it like this,
Because we won't take this,
We won't take this standing up, no.

We won't believe in you,
We won't believe in you.
We won't believe in self-destruction and,
Keeping a lock on life's front door and,
We won't take this standing up 'cause,
We won't believe in you.
