This isn't a Story Because it's Only Just Begun

This is being built over the next week. ADTR inspired at the moment. Just a working title.

Here's another fallen patient,
Caught up between her expectations,
Never thought it would be the way back,
Never thought it would be the way back home.

How about another dream,
Crashing through the reality,
Of everything she thought she'd be,
Or writing love with tragedies.
I want to take you home to place these lips,
Upon the wood of a broken pirate ship,
So we can rebuild something unforgettable.
It's something you don't know.

Falling apart;
Coming together again,
And all we know is that there can be no end,
We're just sitting in the sea by the side of our lives.
Drowning one at a time.

Disease

Beneath a beating sun.
They keep me cold and then the shadows rising
Always remind me that the worst is yet to come.
A vision subject to change and as I fall apart
I fail to watch the words in white ink erase themselves.
When the time comes I will be rid of this town,
But my only regret is that I never let you fall.

Fall

If you want me to take it
I'm falling and shaking
I'll never restore all the things that have let me down.
(What wasn't meant to be)
But they will follow me,
And I won't believe that I was ever meant to be
Alive but full of disease.

The worst isn't the blood
That falls down my skin,
And it isn't the dismissive words you hurled
Straight to my head now bold out in print.
The worst thing is the spiral, circle,
Vortex, cycle, that weaves my thoughts into hatred.
So pull the trigger on the firearm of your vanity,
And watch the bullet penetrate my skull.
So your self-absorbed actions and your hunger for attention
Will wash the river out of me and cover my skin all in bleach.
Don't go wasting your enemies,
You may have no friends left at all,
And remember that when you fall.

Fall

If you want me to take it
I'm falling and shaking
I'll never restore all the things that have let me down.
(What wasn't meant to be)
But they will follow me,
And I won't believe that I was ever meant to be
Alive but full of disease.

I'm falling down,
And out of this city,
But I'll be back with memories of you,
Which you will relive in all that you do.

And I just wanna know,
How it must feel,
To never be alone,
And always choosing sides,
To fit who sucks up to you the most.
Because we all know if you didn't you'd have to face your flaws

Flaws

If you want me to take it
I'm falling and shaking
I'll never restore all the things that have let me down.
(What wasn't meant to be)
But they will follow me,
And I won't believe that I was ever meant to be
Alive but full of disease.

And Down, Down I Fell

I can almost taste the wind
Whipping across my face,
As you stare away from me,
Your gaze locked out in space.
And you'd be gone from then on,
Without another word,
I think I'm falling down,
Within your darkened disregard.
And falling apart.

I found something in you,
That I didn't expect to see,
But it brought my soul to life,
I guess you didn't see it in me.
And now your eyes will fill with hate,
The damage crept into,
Whenever you see my face,
'Cause I wasn't enough for you.
When I fell for you.

I said I'd write you a letter,
Without any tears,
I said I won't fall apart,
Like I had done for years.
But you were with someone new
When I fell for you.

You can't expect for my heart to take
All this pain and then not break,
When I even hear your name,
But I guess I am to blame.
You can't understand the pain
With blood always running cold,
For you I'll cut within the vein,
And do just as I was told.
There's no more point to growing old.

I said I'd write you a letter,
Without any tears,
I said I won't fall apart,
Like I had done for years.
But you were with someone new
When I fell for you.

Throw away our picture frames,
Ignore the bed in which I lay.
Take seven months down from the wall,
And just wait for me to fade away.

With my blood all over your room,
You can paint across the stain,
Just turn your head away,
And pretend you didn't know my name.

I said I'd write you a letter,
Without any tears,
I said I won't fall apart,
Like I had done for years.
I guess there was nothing to do
When I fell for you.

God, Save Our Queen

When I was really, really bored.
I'm not unpatriotic or anarchist or anything
I was just bored.

God, Save Our Queen

God, save our gracious Queen,
Long live her sins and fires but whilst we dream,
Oh God save the Queen.
Send her angels with warnings notorious,
Coffins golden and glorious,
No longer to reign over us,
God, save the Queen.
Oh Lord God your anger arise,
Scatter our enemies with your weapons of choice,
And make them fall.
Damn them to Hell with their nuclear bombs and tricks,
Override their fractured politics,
Her black heart; on you our hopes we fix,
God, save the Queen.

Not in this vacant blackened land alone,
But be our vicious mercies known,
From wasteland to shore.
Lord, make the fallout nations see,
That men should let atoms be,
And form one union of prosperity,
Over every town and every street.
From every blazing, liberal foe,
From the sniper’s 60cm blow,
God, save the Queen.
He’ll shoot over the blackened heart she will extend,
For Britain’s sake you must defend,
Our mother’s lost heart and soul and friend,
God, save the Queen.

Our choicest nuclear Soviet gifts in store,
Her stolen heart would be pleased to pour,
Too long may she reign.
May she be defended by any law,
And ever make us fear and cause us,
To sing with fear and guilt and voice,
God, save the Queen.

Leaving the Lights Behind

Do you remember kicking the night sky into the flood lights
Out in the moonlight
We were the first day and the last nights
Just to take it all back and fall behind
But I, I thought I'd never see them right

So thank the Lord
That we're never coming back here again.
All the days we spent,
Wishing for the day we came alive,
Well I guess we got it right.

So here's to the day we met and to the day of our first kiss
On your blessed bed
I am without you and without this
But now I don't have a single regret
Just you, you and I can put it all right.

So thank the Lord
That we're never coming back here again.
All the days we spent,
Wishing for the day we came alive,
Well I guess we got it right.

Yeah you got me
Here on your first bet,
That I'd always be the one, in the end.
Then we fall down
Down onto your bed,
And all our talk is real tonight
Forever will commence.

So thank the Lord
That we're never coming back here again.
All the days we spent,
Wishing for the day we came alive,
Well I guess we got it right.

Destroy The Clocks

Inspired by new Linkin Park album 'A Thousand Suns' Post-apocalyptic-it's all our fault-philosophical crap ;)
Enjoy x

Destroy The Clocks

I see the buildings fall
The fires burning out.
The dust it settles down,
It buries wounds of what is found
And soldiers laid to rest.
But in the cold and rust,
The lack of time,
The endless space and what is mine;
The calm it seems to carry a final prayer.
Because where you will find the deepest snow,
The brightest stars
From here I know,
They're all alive in beauty and decay.

Dissemble hands,
Melt the cogs,
Look to the sky,
And search for God.

Between the empty lands
I feel the thunder storms.
The moon it glides above,
In all its blissful ignorance
That shows it's so much more.
But on the corpse of Earth,
That's cold and grey
That sings the wars of fear kept astray;
The levees break so that we discover truths.
Because where you will find the deepest snow,
The brightest stars
From here I know,
They're all alive in beauty and decay.

Dissemble hands,
Melt the cogs,
Look to the sky,
And search for God.

Until we drop, woah.
The atoms will explode.
And God will leave us no
Time to destroy
The clocks
The fear,
And leave us thinking:

Here we are, woah
The atoms will explode.

And dissemble hands,
Melt the cogs,
Look to the sky,
And search for God.

Away

Um. Jimmy Eat World inspired. For someone amazing :) Enjoy x

Away

I'm stood out at the corner of your road
And you don't know that I'm here.
I can see your house out the corner of my eye,
And I can tell you're home.
No I can't see movement and I can't see your bedroom light,
But I know you're close because I know
And because the stars have never looked so bright.

They tell me
They begged me
And I know that I shouldn't be here.
But they don't know
And they can't see
My heart beating as you walk to me.
They could never see.

And it's cold underneath this clocktower,
But it's good just to be here.
I can see your eyes darting back and forth,
Between my lips and my eyes.
No I can't breath right and I can't let go,
'Cause I know you're close because I know,
And because the stars are all on show.

They tell me
They begged me
And I know that I shouldn't be here.
But they don't know
And they can't see,
My heart beating as you walk to me.
They could never see.

When the sun comes up don't forget where I am
And I'm always where you think I'll be,
'Cause I'm not done waiting.
Keep your lies and I
I will remain
Unable to tear myself away.
