Velocity Thunder

Trying to calm down and regroup after "Falling" so here's a more organised piece. Just a few ideas, nothing serious. Hmmmmm, if you're wondering about the title I have a short story :) (hooray!!) So my friend Lara suggested (i think i can't really remember how that went down) that I wrote a song called Velocity Thunder. I messed about with some guitar parts but the idea sort of faded away. The process was all backwards: writing a song to match a title? It didn't make sense. But when I wrote this, I couldn't think of a title but I was thinking about Lara anyways and so it sort of clicked. I have no idea...scrap? Hmm, I'm torn.

Velocity Thunder

The wind is plain, it's back again,
It brings rain and fountain pens,
Stormy nights, they're so deceiving,
If God falls down from the skies,
Oh wouldn't that be a sight.

Flying close to mountain sides,
Another broken window.
You pick up that stupid smile,
I know somewhere we can go.
With a show.

Always pleasing, ain't it so sad,
Forget who and what you had,
Cloudy lights, that we're revealing,
If gold falls down from the skies,
Oh wouldn't that be a sight.

Flying close to mountain sides,
Another broken window.
You pick up that stupid smile,
I know somewhere we can go.
With a show.
Uhoh.
Whoa.
And here we go.

Flying close to mountain sides,
Another broken window.
You pick up that stupid smile,
I know somewhere we can go.
And we'll go.
For the show...
